Cold Shower Benefits

Here are a few great benefits of cold showers:

Increased immunity. Cold showers help increase the production of white blood cells, which is key in fighting colds and illness naturally.

Decreased tension. Cold showers may help decrease tension and ease stress.

Improved muscle recovery/decreased soreness. Many professional athletes take ice baths, but similar benefits can be obtained via cold showers as well.

Improved skin and hair health. Cold showers can help prevent the loss of the skin’s natural oils.

Improved blood circulation. The cold water prompts the body to send blood to sensitive organs, thus increasing overall circulation.

Increase alertness. Taking a cold shower is an easy way to wake up in the morning. It can also be used to help eliminate fatigue.

Give it a Try!

People may find it hard to believe all these benefits can be obtained from simply taking a cold shower, but it’s true.

This is something we all can do, with many benefits being felt with just 5 minutes in cold water.

A great way to get used to taking cold showers is to slowly turn the water cold for the last 2 minutes of the shower, gradually increasing its duration over the next several days or weeks.

Becoming the best we can be is not as difficult as we are led to believe. A few simple lifestyle changes may be all that’s needed. Learn more in my books The 3 Pillars of Strength and The Diet of Success. Both available on audible, kindle and paperback formats.
