Joe Biden has won the presidential election. Where does that leave us as a nation?
We still have work to do as a country and as a people. There are some very important topics the new president must address:
Unemployment. Unemployment rates remain high around the world. This is partly due to the pandemic and businesses being shut down, but there’s also the issue of artificial intelligence. How do we increase the creation of NEW jobs in the United States and around the world?
The economy. The U.S. is running trillion dollar deficits, and if we have another round of stimulus checks, that deficit will be even higher. How will this debt be repaid back? Does this set us up for a new monetary reset?
The coronavirus. No matter how people really feel about it, the pandemic is still here, and seems to be getting worse. People are still getting sick, and cities all over the world are shutting down to try and control its spread. That means the economies are shutting down too.
Each of these issues are major problems that would exist no matter who was president in 2021.
Trump. Trump is still VERY popular. His base is loyal, and will continue to listen to him on Twitter and any news channel he appears on. Will he continue to hold rallies or public speaking engagements? Will he run in 20204? Time will tell.
The economy is still a mess, which means it’s critical we be proactive and take care of ourselves. Here are some things we can do to protect ourselves going forward:
- Don’t rely on politicians to help us. Unfortunately, the bickering in Washington will continue. There are 70 MILLION people who voted for Trump, and they are NOT HAPPY today. There is a good chance the republicans in Congress will fight everything Biden attempts to do out of spite, and in loyalty to the republican party.
- Create multiple streams of income. As the world changes, we must change with it. We can’t rely on one job or one source of income to sustain us. Find ways to make money while you sleep.
- Buy gold and silver. The economy is a mess. The election has taken up the majority of the headlines, but many things have gone on during this time. For example, two hurricanes hit Louisiana, and another potential hurricane is nearing Florida. In addition, central banks around the world are talking about creating a digital currency. While people watch the election, its important to watch your money too.
The next 4 years will be VERY interesting. I see a lot of pain and discomfort in our future. While some will blame the new president, I feel these things have been building up for YEARS. It should be noted that the FED and central banks make their own rules, and do so without any input from the president.
I hope I’m wrong about all of this. It would be great of we put our differences aside as a nation and worked together. The world is changing, and we must be unified if we want to keep up and maintain our good standing in the world.
Now is the time to take care of yourself. Today people can celebrate (or be irate), but tomorrow, we must get to work!
