We are ALL tired of covid, but it’s still having a big impact on our lives:
The Royal Caribbean announced that 8 of their crew members tested positive for covid.
NBA player Chris Paul is out indefinitely for covid protocols.
Whether a person has received the vaccine or not, it’s critical we stay vigilant and protect ourselves. One of the best ways to do that is by keeping our immune system strong. This can be accomplished by doing these 2 things:
- Eating fruits and veggies every day. Here is a link for the top foods that boost the immune system.
- Green leafy veggies
- Citrus fruits
- Sunflower seeds
- Green tea
How many of these can you eat daily?
To boost your immune system, consider adding a variety of spices to your diet:
2. Go outside everyday for 15 minutes and get vitamin D. Studies indicate those with the worst covid symptoms have a vitamin D deficiency. Many people are vitamin D deficient and don’t realize it:
Vitamin D deficiency, which can result in a compromised immune response, has been also linked to increased risk and increased morbidities associated with COVID-19.Read the study here
