How do you feel about critical race theory? Critical race theory (CRT) is a theoretical framework in the social sciences that uses critical theory to examine society and culture as they relate to categorizations of race, law, and power.
There is a fierce debate about the teaching of critical race theory in schools. It is being rejected all over the country but I’m not surprised. Look at all the other important topics that are ignored in school:
- Healthy eating/natural remedies
- Financial literacy
- Business and entrepreneurship
The school system is not designed for us to think for ourselves, it’s designed for us to do as we are told. We aren’t taught to question authority, we are taught to follow the rules.
