Since the pandemic began, there was a worldwide push to get the entire world vaccinated. This has not been without controversy. One of the largest protests against the vaccine occurred in Canada by truckers who are opposed to the vaccine.
Hundreds of truckers have driven their giant rigs into the Canadian capital Ottawa to protest against Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s COVID-19 vaccine mandates required to cross the United States border.
The so-called “Freedom Convoy” – coming from east and west – started out as a rally against a vaccine requirement for cross-border truckers, but has turned into a demonstration against government overreach during the pandemic with a strong anti-vaccination streak.Read more HERE.
While the vast majority of people are OK with getting vaccines, there are some who are hesitant to get vaccinated. As more and more places of employment, schools and other areas of daily life make vaccines mandatory, many people feel they have no choice but to get the “jab.”
Why are people hesitant to get the vaccine? There are many reasons, but one common concern is people don’t know what’s in the vaccine or think the ingredients in the vaccine do more harm than good long term.
Countries around the world have expressed concerns over the vaccine. Some have even banned the vaccine for segments of their population.
Scandinavian authorities suspended or discouraged the use of Moderna’s COVID-19 vaccine in young people because of an increased risk of heart inflammation, a very rare side effect associated with the shot.
Sweden suspended the use of Moderna for those recipients under 30, Denmark said those under 18 won’t be offered the Swiss-made vaccine, and Norway urged those under 30 to get the Pfizer vaccine instead.Read more HERE.
While some people are ok with taking additional boosters, others have opted to forgo any additional jabs.
Top Detox Tips
For those who are leery of vaccines, here are the top ways many have attempted to detoxify their bodies from vaccines, toxins and heavy metals.
#1. Drink A lot of Water. Drinking water helps flush toxins out of the body. Filtered water is considered the most effective and healthy type of water.
#2. Strengthen Organs That Detox the Body. The body is in a constant state of detox. Every time you go to the bathroom, exhale, and sweat, your body is removing waste and impurities. The following organs remove toxins from the body:
Note: These organs are natural detoxification pathways. This means toxins can exit the body via one or more of these pathways. As a result, it’s critical we keep them all healthy and functioning properly. Decreasing the consumption of fried, processed and foods with artificial colors and preservatives is key to keeping the body healthy enough to detox naturally. Keeping these natural detoxification pathways healthy is a must.
#3. Eat the Following Foods. Top foods for detox include the following:
- Vitamin C
- Nuts and seeds
- Green leafy veggies
- Bone broth
For example, ginger has been found to have protective ability against mercury (Hg), lead (Pb) and cadmium (Cd) accumulation in the liver. Curcumin, an ingredient in turmeric, reduces the hepatotoxicity induced by arsenic, cadmium, chromium, copper, lead and mercury.
Note: Eating a variety of healthy foods daily is a must. They help to strengthen the natural detox pathways, allowing the body to remove waste and toxins naturally.
#4. Exercise. Exercises that get your heart rate up are great for detox because it can help keep the various organs that help detoxify the body healthy. Swimming, biking, running, and other high intensity exercises help the body sweat and remove toxins. Exercises like yoga focus on the breath and deep breathing, allowing carbon dioxide and waste to be removed from the lungs.
#5. Get Your Vitamin D. Vitamin D helps boost the immune system and decrease the severity of colds and the flu. It is estimated that over 1 billion people are vitamin D deficient, and it plays a key role in mortality and formation of chronic diseases.
Vitamin D can be obtained by simply going outside and letting the sunlight touch your bare skin for 15-30 minutes. For those unable to get outside, vitamin D can be found in some foods such as fortified foods, fatty fish, mushrooms and cod liver oil. It can also be received via supplements. Order vitamin D supplements HERE.
#6. Get Your Glutathione. Glutathione is an antioxidant made in the liver that binds to toxins. In addition to supplements, glutathione is found in the following foods: broccoli, parsley, spinach, cabbage, beets, and avocadoes.
#7. Consume Chlorella. Chlorella is an algae that prevents heavy metals from being reabsorbed in the body, including mercury, aluminum and cadmium. Studies indicate the consumption of chlorella for 90 consecutive days can decrease certain heavy metal levels in the body.
#8. Take a Bath. Epsom’s salts and clay baths are a great way to remove toxins in the body.
#9. Get Adequate Sleep. The body heals and rejuvenates itself when we sleep. The average adult needs approximately 8 hours of sleep nightly.
10. Chiropractic and Massage Therapy. A good massage helps stimulate blood flow and activate the lymphatic system. Both are needed for toxin removal. The lymphatic system supports detoxification in practically every system in the body, including the immune, digestive, and nervous systems.
If the lymphatic system gets stagnant, waste and toxins that were to be removed from the body get stuck, forming a “traffic jam” in the body. This can cause them to fester and accumulate in these areas, increasing the risk of chronic disease.
A chiropractor helps bring the body back into alignment, which can help the detox organs function more efficiently.
Bonus Tip: Chelation. Chelation is the Greek word for claw. Chelation occurs when a subject is consumed, the heavy metal or toxin is drawn to the consumed item like a magnet. They bind to the chelator and are removed from the body when, preventing them from being reabsorbed. Top food chelators include brazil nuts, chlorella, cilantro, onions and garlic, and activated charcoal.
Studies indicate even single doses of oral activated charcoal effectively prevent the gastrointestinal absorption of most drugs and toxins present in the stomach at the time of charcoal administration.
Patience is Key
It can take time for the body to detox from various toxins partly because they must travel through various pathways to be removed. Keeping these pathways healthy enough to remove toxins is key as well. Eating a healthy diet and living a healthy lifestyle is essential. Removing toxins won’t happen overnight. As a result, patience is key.
