#1. Earaches

ACV is great for earaches. You will need the following:

  • ACV
  • Isopropyl alcohol
  • Cotton ball

  • Pour small amount of acv and alcohol onto cotton ball
  • Lay on side
  • Gently squeeze cotton ball so mixture goes into the ear
  • Lay on side for 5-15 minutes
  • Place cotton ball over ear canal

When finished, get up and drain ear by placing towel over ear and on shoulder to let the mixture come out.

#4. Minor Cuts and Scrapes

Apple cider vinegar can help clean out minor cuts and scrapes. Spray the cut with a light mist of acv.

Note: ACV will sting when used on cuts, so small children will be hesitant to use. However after the first application, the stinging will cease if reapplied.

#5. Deodorant

Many commercial deodorants contain chemicals that may be hazardous to a person health.

Apple cider vinegar kills the bacteria that causes body odor. It can be simply sprayed under the arms by itself, or mixed with water in a spray bottle. Many commercial deodorants and antiperspirants contain triclosan, which has been believed to alter hormone regulation:

Recently, it has been known that endocrine-disrupting chemicals (EDCs) may act as an exogenous factor to enhance cancer progression. Triclosan (TCS) and 2,4-dihydroxybenzophenone (BP-1) were reported to bioaccumulate in human bodies through the skin absorption.
